Professional Dog Behaviour Support & Modification Packages

Structured, evidence-based intervention designed for lasting change. I work with you and your veterinarian to address the root causes of aggression and reactivity through a calm, clinical approach.

Behaviour is driven by context, emotion, and learned experience

What appears as aggression or disobedience is often a response to stress, environment, or reinforcement history. Behaviour reflects underlying emotional and physiological states, not intention, and must be understood before it can be effectively changed.

Sustainable change requires structured assessment, risk management and consistent implementation. This is not quick-fix training, but a clinical, evidence-based approach focused on welfare, safety and long-term outcomes.

  • Behavioural intervention requires commitment, consistency and implementation between sessions.
  • Outcomes depend on multiple factors, including the environment, management, health status, and adherence to recommendations.
  • Aggression and reactivity cases are managed with a focus on safety, welfare and realistic prognosis.
  • I do not provide quick-fix solutions. My work is structured, ethical and evidence-based.

We homed a beautiful rescue dog who was petrified of other dogs. We enlisted the help of Lisa and using the techniques she taught us, Dolly now a plays happily with other dogs. It certainly isn’t an overnight fix, but with support from Dogmestix we have a happier settled dog.

I attended Lisa’s ‘ Life Skills for Puppies” course this week and would highly recommend it . Her communication skills are great in terms of listening to your questions and concerns as well as teaching the owners and their dogs. The teaching methods are all positive reward based and the teaching environment is a lovely spacious hall that allows ample space for the more nervous dogs. The classes are fun, educational and I can’t wait for the next class!
